Today Dairy Maid is still owned and operated by the Aiello Family. For 13 generations, the Aiello family has handed down time honored techniques and recipes to craft some of the worlds best Italian cheeses.

Aiello Family Tradition
The Aiello family began their tradition of fine Italian cheese making almost 100 years ago in Positano, Italy. In 1923, the family decided to bring their love for artisan cheese to America. Many of the same practices from Italy are still used in today's modern day cheese making. Dairy Maid specializes in Fresh Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese, which are found in many famous Italian dishes including lasagna, topping on pizzas, italian style cheese cakes and the filling of cannolis.They pride themselves on using the finest ingredients to craft the freshest dairy products, or how our friends say in Italy “latticini freschi”!
